We are issuing this critical warning due to a growing and dangerous
trend. Individuals, including bochurim returning to yeshiva, have
been approached—often via WhatsApp—with requests to transport
packages. Shockingly, some of these packages have contained
illegal or hazardous items, putting unsuspecting individuals at
severe risk of criminal charges, imprisonment, or worse.
Let us be absolutely clear: you could ruin your life in a moment. Do
not assume safety because the request comes from someone who
seems frum, is part of our community, or even a trusted friend or
family member. Criminals and unscrupulous individuals rely on this
false sense of security to exploit well-meaning people.
Under no circumstances should you agree to transport any
package without fully verifying its contents. Refuse any request that
seems unclear, vague, or suspicious—your safety and reputation
depend on it.
This is not just a matter of caution; this is a matter of survival. A
single mistake could result in devastating legal consequences,
endanger your safety, and destroy your future.
Please take this warning with the utmost seriousness. Lives and
reputations are at stake.
