As the Yom Tov of Pesach is quickly coming up, Rabbi Saul Emanuel and officials at the Champlain border crossing held a special pre holiday meeting. Rabbi Emanuel prepared a “special Passover travel calendar” for the border officers to have. The calendar includes the busy travel days as well as Yomim Tovim, so everyone will be well prepared and know what to expect when. The Jewish community council appreciates the tremendous work of the border officials and we thank them for always working together with us with the best interests and safety of our community in mind.
